Differential Via - Controlled Impedance Fine Tuning for 25Gbps High-Speed Signals

Updated: Jan 14

High-speed signal channels require a tight, controlled impedance design. Controlled impedance discontinuities cause signal reflections. High-speed channels employ PCB traces, component footprint pads, and vias. In many cases, the last two comprise controlled impedance discontinuities unless taken care of.

This video focuses on optimizing a differential pair via 25Gbps.

CST SI tools were used for this Test Case.
